Why this site exists
Reliable English-language information about Bujumbura is scarce and scattered. Guidebooks give Burundi a few pages; official sources publish mainly in French and Kirundi; much of what ranks online is outdated. This site aims to be the missing reference: current, specific and honest about uncertainty.
How we work
Every page states plainly when something changes often (visa rules, borders, prices, security) and points you to the primary source to verify. We would rather say "confirm this locally" than pretend precision we don't have. Corrections are welcome — if you find something outdated, tell us and we'll fix it.
